Method 2: The Super Easy “Hack” Version
This is the ultimate shortcut for when you need to feed a crowd with minimal effort.
Yield: 12 sliders
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 20 minutes
Ingredients:
· 1 package (12 count) Hawaiian sweet rolls or potato rolls (keep them connected)
· 1 lb ground beef, browned and drained
· 1 cup pizza sauce
· 8 oz (2 cups) shredded mozzarella cheese
· ¼ cup (½ stick) butter, melted
· ½ teaspoon garlic powder
· ½ teaspoon Italian seasoning
· ¼ cup grated Parmesan cheese
Instructions:
- Preheat & Prep: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°F). Without separating the individual rolls, slice the entire sheet of rolls in half horizontally, creating a top and bottom “slab.” Place the bottom slab in a 9×13 inch baking dish.
- Layer the Ingredients: Spread the cooked, drained ground beef evenly over the bottom layer of rolls. Top with the pizza sauce, then sprinkle with the mozzarella cheese. Place the top slab of rolls on top.
- Butter the Tops: In a small bowl, mix the melted butter, garlic powder, and Italian seasoning. Brush this mixture generously over the top of the rolls. Sprinkle with the grated Parmesan cheese.
- Bake: Cover the dish with foil and bake for 15 minutes. Remove the foil and bake for another 5-10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the tops are golden brown.
- Serve: Use a sharp knife to cut along the roll lines into individual sliders. Serve warm.
