Preheat oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with foil or parchment and place a wire rack on top if you want extra crispiness.

Pat drumsticks dry with paper towels to help the skin crisp up.

In a large bowl, toss drumsticks with olive oil. Sprinkle with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, pepper, and thyme. Coat evenly.

Arrange drumsticks on the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each piece.

Bake for 35–45 minutes, flipping halfway through, until skin is golden brown and chicken is cooked through (internal temperature should reach 165°F/74°C).

Remove from oven, rest for 5 minutes, and serve hot.
